Cryogenic Low-Temperature Canned Pump for LNG Refrigeration in Natural Gas Liquefaction Plants

  1. Extreme Cryogenic Resistance: Engineered with specialized low-temperature materials (e.g., 316L stainless steel, Invar, or Monel alloys) that maintain mechanical integrity at temperatures as low as -196°C-critical for handling LNG (liquefied natural gas) which boils at -162°C. Resists brittleness, thermal shrinkage, and material fatigue caused by extreme cold cycles, ensuring structural stability in prolonged cryogenic service.
  2. Hermetic Zero-Leakage Design: Features a seal-less canned motor structure with vacuum-tight static seals (metal bellows, PTFE gaskets) to eliminate dynamic shaft seals. Prevents LNG leakage-vital for safety (LNG is highly flammable with a low boiling point) and efficiency (leaks cause refrigerant loss and system pressure drops), while avoiding environmental risks from methane emissions.
  3. Optimized for LNG Thermophysics: Hydraulic components (impellers, casings) designed to handle LNG's unique properties: low viscosity (0.1-0.2 cP at -162°C), high density (420-450 kg/m³), and rapid phase change sensitivity. Ensures stable flow rates (up to 200 m³/h) and discharge pressures (up to 150 bar) to support continuous LNG refrigeration cycles without cavitation or efficiency loss.
