• Structure: It usually consists of main components such as the valve body, valve core, valve stem, and handle. The valve body is generally made of metal materials to ensure its strength and sealing performance. The valve core is a key component for controlling the refrigerant flow, and materials that are wear-resistant and corrosion-resistant, such as copper alloys or stainless steel, are commonly used. The valve stem is used to connect the valve core and the handle. By rotating the handle, the valve stem rotates, thus realizing the opening and closing action of the valve core. The handle is usually circular or square for easy operation, and there may be scales or markings on it to indicate the opening degree of the valve.
• Working Principle: By rotating the handle to drive the movement of the valve stem and the valve core, the size of the gap between the valve core and the valve seat is changed, thereby controlling the flow area of the refrigerant, and further regulating the flow and pressure of the refrigerant. When the handle is rotated clockwise, the valve core gradually closes, and the refrigerant flow decreases; when rotated counterclockwise, the valve core gradually opens, and the refrigerant flow increases.

  • Pressure Control: By controlling the refrigerant flow, the pressure at various parts of the refrigeration system can be indirectly adjusted to ensure that the system pressure is within a safe and reasonable range, preventing damage to the system caused by excessively high or low pressure.
  • System Maintenance and Repair: When the refrigeration system is under maintenance or repair, the refrigeration manual valve can be closed to isolate the part that needs to be repaired from other parts of the system, avoiding refrigerant leakage and facilitating safe maintenance work for maintenance personnel.

• Type
  • Globe Valve: This is one of the most common types of refrigeration manual valves. The globe valve has good sealing performance and can completely cut off the flow of the refrigerant. It is often used in parts of the refrigeration system where strict control of the refrigerant flow direction and flow rate is required, such as at the inlet and outlet of the compressor and the pipeline connections of the condenser and the evaporator.
  • Throttle Valve: It is mainly used to regulate the refrigerant flow and achieve the function of throttling and pressure reduction. By changing the opening degree of the valve, the refrigerant generates a pressure drop when flowing through the valve, thus controlling the refrigerant flow entering the evaporator to meet different refrigeration load requirements.
  • Ball Valve: The valve core of the ball valve is a sphere, and there is a circular through hole on the sphere. The opening and closing of the valve and the flow regulation are achieved by rotating the sphere. The ball valve has the advantages of small flow resistance, large passage diameter, and rapid opening and closing, and is suitable for some occasions where a large refrigerant flow is required and rapid regulation is needed.
