What are the differences between stainless steel and forged steel valves?
Material Properties

• Stainless Steel: It has good corrosion resistance and can withstand the erosion of various chemical substances, and is not easy to rust. This enables it to maintain good performance in some complex working environments, such as those with humidity, trace amounts of acids and alkalis. Meanwhile, stainless steel also has a certain degree of strength and toughness, and can withstand a certain amount of pressure and impact.
• Forged Steel: Through the forging process, its internal structure is dense, and the grains are fine and uniform. Therefore, it has high strength and toughness, and can withstand large pressure and impact force, making it suitable for working under high-pressure and high-load conditions. However, the corrosion resistance of ordinary forged steel is generally not as good as that of stainless steel, and it is prone to rust and corrosion in some environments with corrosive media.
